Grace Park
Grace Park, Actress (Hawaii Five-O)
Grace Park is a well-known actress for her role in the television series Hawaii Five-Oand Battlestar Galactica. She was born in California, but her family moved to Canada before she turned 2 years old. She holds dual Canadian and American citizenship.[1]
Park graduated from Magee Secondary in Vancouver in 1992, before studying psychology at the University of British Columbia.[2] She was shy as a teenager, recalling “I was never a performer type. I didn’t even know what floor the drama department was on… It just intimidated me like crazy. I didn’t like being the centre of attention. All that stuff was not my cup of tea.” She later realized she liked being on set, by convincing herself she wasn’t in the spotlight.
Park started out as a model, before moving into acting with a role in Edgemont in 2000. In 2003, she landed a role in the miniseries Battlestar Galactica and in 2010, she appeared in CBS’ revival of the series Hawaii Five-O as a main character. She also had previous roles in CBC’s The Border, and A&E’s The Cleaner.
