A story about a memorable event or period during your/your family’s life in Canada?

My most memorable event during my family’s life in Canada is how much support us citizens receive in hard times (health, financial, and personal). Paying a lot in taxes isn’t always fun but when I think about all that we received from the government and the public sector while living in this country, I am forever thankful.
